I am a British/Canadian artist currently based in London. My work has been acquired by the UAL Art Collection in London, Parallax Development Corp., in Canada, UBS Bank Canada and private collectors. I was recently short listed for the RA Summer Exhibition 2022, and long listed for the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize 2021, in London, UK. I am interested in human ecology and my relationships within the natural, social and built environments that I engage with. My work interprets how my experiences within these environments shape my view of the world. I do not depict my experiences chronologically, but rather how different experiences inform, impact and relate to each other. My paintings depict imagined places that are based on reality, memory, and imagination. I view my practice as an ever evolving journey, each piece having a connection to those that will follow and those that came before. Imagery from past work is often manipulated and reconstituted in new work. I am interested in the interconnectivity of all things that exists in the world.
